Building on his undergraduate and graduate course-work in
physics and mathematics, Mr. Miller has furthered his training
in accident reconstruction and been certified in the use of
state-of-the-art computer simulation software. He has
reconstructed accidents for other trial lawyers and testified in
court as an expert accident reconstruction witness.
Using the laws of
physics to demonstrate the forces operating on the body during the
collision sequence, Mr. Miller is often able to overcome insurance
adjustors’ prejudices and preconceived notions about these cases.
Insurance companies are particularly tough with:
-
“low
speed impact” cases
-
claims
where the victim did not wear a seat belt, and
-
when
the plaintiff has prior injury or arthritis.
Since 1990, Mr. Miller has successfully recovered lost income
and/or compensation for pain and suffering in more than 300
automobile cases. Experienced in all aspects of motor vehicle and
highway design litigation, he has handled virtually all imaginable
types of collision:
-
Chain
collisions,
-
One-car vaults off
embankments,
-
Drunken
drivers,
-
Tractor-trailer
impacts,
-
Steering
and braking failures, and
-
Hundreds
of common intersection cases.
